Our truss spacing is based off the IBC Snow/Wind Load recommendations . All counties have different codes.
VERY IMPORTANT: Check with your county and find out the snow/wind load before buying off of any building company.
Not doing so may result in shut down of your project, extra work, or extra money spent.
OUR TRUSS SPACING
20/90 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 20' example
30/100 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 15' example
40/110 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 12' example
50/120 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 10' example
65/130 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 08' example
80/150 snow/wind ---- Trusses may be spaced no more than 06' example
You can always decrease the spacing if needed to get a different bay spacing. This will only make your building stronger.
